The Poznan University of Fine Arts and the City of Poznan invite you to the open lecture by Jörg Scheller, Ph. D. The lecture titled "From Fish Tank to Think Tank. The Aquarium between Religion, Science, and Art" will take place on 25 October 2017 (Wednesday) at 6 pm in the B Building (Atrium) of the University of Fine Arts at 29 Marcinkowskiego Avenue.

Jörg Scheller is a doctor of humanities, historian of art, journalist, musician, anglicist, media expert and curator of arts. Between 2007 and 2009 he was a scholarship recipient of DFG Graduate School Bildbüro Medium in Staatliche Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe. He lives in Berlin, teaches at Hochschule für Gestaltung Karlsruhe, Staatliche Akademie der Bildenden, Künste Stuttgart, Akademie für Darstellende Kunst Ludwigsburg, Universität Siegen and Universität Zürich. He oversaw numerous exhibitions, among others as part of the 55th Biennale in Venice, organised Salon Suisse in the Pro Helvetia Swiss Culture Foundation, and in 2016 was a curator of the Building Modern Bodies. The art of bodybuilding 2015/16 exhibition in Kunsthalle Zürich. He has published numerous books, scientific and popular scientific dissertations on the links of art and popular culture.
