Adam Mickiewicz University and the city of Poznan invite you to an open lecture which will be given by Professor Phillip J. Ardoin. The lecture entitled "The Greatest Show on Earth: Donald Trump's American Revolution' will be held on 12 April (Thursday) at 1.15 pm in the Hall of the Political Sciences and Journalism Faculty at the Adam Mickiewicz University, 89a Umultowska St.

Phillip J. Ardoin is a professor of political science, the head of the Department of Government and Justice Studies at the Appalachian State University, USA and a co-editor of a prestigious magazine "PS: Political Science and Politics' (published by the Political Science Association).

Before being elected the President of the Department, Professor Ardoin was the President of the North Carolina Political Science Association and the director of the Department of Law and Justice in the field of political science. His scientific interests include a wide range of issues in the area of American politics. Currently, he is working on several research projects which encompass the analysis of factors influencing polarization in the electorate and investigates the impact of students' voting on local elections as well as the attitudes of political elites in relation to students' voting.
